Do export transactions need to be pushed through Peppol for UAE e-invoicing, and how does it work?
Yes, export transactions to customers outside the UAE, including GCC and non-GCC countries, must be issued as e-invoices through an FTA-accredited Accredited Service Provider (ASP). The overseas customers does not need to be registered on the Peppol network. The ASP routes the e-invoice through the Peppol for reporting to the FTA. After pushing the transaction through Peppol, you can share the transaction separately with the customer as a PDF by email.
