# How are transactions sent and received through Peppol in Zoho Books?

When you create and send transactions from your Zoho Books organisation, Zoho Books sends it to Zoho Software Trading LLC, an FTA-accredited Accredited Service Provider (ASP). The ASP validates the transactions and transmits it through the Peppol network to your customer’s ASP, if they are registered in the UAE Peppol framework. At the same time, the required tax data is reported to the Federal Tax Authority (Corner 5) of the Peppol network.

If your customer uses Zoho Software Trading LLC as their ASP, the invoice is received as a bill, and credit notes are received as vendor credits in their Zoho Books organisation.
