# How do I add a new tax?

To add a new tax rate:

*   Go to **Settings** on the top right corner of the page.
*   Select **Taxes** under _Taxes & Compliance_.
*   In the _Taxes_ pane, select **Tax Rates**.
*   Click **\+ New Tax** in the top-right corner and in the pop-up that appears:
*   Enter the _Tax Name_ and _Rate%_.
*   Select the **Tax Type**.
*   Click **Save**.
