      We've introduced a new report, Purchase Request Approval Time, which provides insights into the time taken by each approver to review and approve purchase requests.

      New Custom Approval Option in Purchase Requests

      We have supported a new criterion Project Heads of Purchase Request Items in the custom approvals of the Purchase Requests module. When configured, the purchase request is submitted to the heads of the projects associated with the line items. If the line items are linked to different projects, the purchase request will be submitted to the respective project heads in the order of the line items. The purchase request will be marked as Approved after all project heads have given their approval.

      Android App Updates

      • Users can now select the organization when uploading expense receipts directly from the gallery.
      • For mileage expenses tracked using GPS, the start and end dates along with the time will now be displayed on the expense details page.
      • We've introduced the Using Maps feature as a new method for creating mileage expenses. Users can now create a mileage expense by adding the From and To addresses, along with any additional stops. The possible routes will be displayed, allowing you to choose the required route to calculate the distance. This feature is currently available in early access.       Extending Real-Time Feeds for Trial Accounts

      Real-Time Feeds is now available for users who've signed up for the Zoho Expense free trial. In a trial organization, you can connect a maximum of three cards to fetch card feeds in real time. After the trial period, real-time feeds will be automatically deactivated.

      Add Mastercards in Bulk for Real-Time Feeds [US, UK, and Canada Editions]

      You can now add Mastercards in bulk to Zoho Expense and fetch feeds instantly. If you couldn't add your card to Zoho Expense individually as it supports only bulk enrolment, you can now submit a request to connect the corporate cards and fetch feeds directly from the card provider by providing the necessary details, including the Bank Name, Card Provider, and Number of Cards that needs to be added and we will contact you at your email address and assist you with adding the cards.

      Budgets vs Actuals

      We've introduced a new column, Available, instead of the Over Budget column. The Over Budget column showed a negative value when the actual spend was less than the budget. Now, with the Available column, a positive value will be shown when the actual spend is less than the budget.

      We've now introduced Real-Time Feeds for the Canada edition of Zoho Expense. Real-time feeds are card transactions that are received directly from card networks without relying on the bank, as soon as transactions occur. Real-Time Feeds is only available for users in Canada using the Canada edition of Zoho Expense with Mastercards issued in Canada.

      You can now configure per diem rates for multiple travel locations by fetching the latest rates as declared by your government. You can import them manually, add custom rates, or add a per diem rate for a particular location.       Germany edition

      Launching the all-new Germany edition in Zoho Expense! When you select Germany as your location while creating an organization and enable VAT, Zoho Expense will preconfigure the applicable tax rates for businesses in Germany. Similarly, the mileage rates for Cars and Motorcycles as suggested by the German government will also be available by default, however, you can create your own rates for these vehicle types, based on your preference. You can also access Zoho Expense in the Deutsch language, if required.

      Users can now choose a delivery address while creating a purchase request. The organization's primary address will be prefilled by default. However, admins will be able to add a new address or edit the existing address.

      Automatically generate reports to compile the expenses of your corporate card, using Report Automation. Once you enable report automation, a report will be automatically created on the billing date and all the expenses incurred using your corporate card will be attached to the report.       Upload receipts for autoscan inside reports. Once you upload a receipt from inside a report, the receipt will be autoscanned, converted into an expense, and get attached to the report automatically.       Android App Updates

      Now, you can upload up to 5 receipts at a time for autoscan from third party applications. If you enter the odometer start reading to create a mileage expense and put the app to background or the phone shuts down, the next time you open the app, the odometer reading will be remembered and prefilled so that you can create a mileage expense with the same reading without having to enter it again. In the Approvals module, when you view a report PDF, you can now select a template by which you would like to view the PDF. Now create mileage expenses for Electric vehicles using your mobile app. When you create a mileage expense simply choose the fuel type as 'Electric'. Also, when you add new vehicles to your mileage policy, you can associate this new fuel type for electric vehicles.

      An all-new section, My Settings, for users to configure their preferences. Users can view their basic information and configure default values for expense and trip creation forms. Users can add travel details and travel documents like visa, passport, etc., to help the travel team with the booking process. Also, they can add delegates and out-of-office approvers in this section to create expenses and approve reports on their behalf. While creating an expense, if you enter a new merchant, the merchant details will be saved. Later, when you create new expenses and select that merchant, the expense category will be auto-filled. When you create a new category, you can now associate it with an expense type. If you want to record a personal expense, you can now mark it as personal and it will be automatically created as a non-reimbursable expense.
