# Can I add service items as part of a composite item?

Yes, you can add service items as part of a composite item. However, you cannot create a service-only composite item in Zoho Inventory.

Adding services to a bundle is useful when you are performing a basic assembly and want to include the labor hours that went into producing the finished goods.

To add service items to your composite item:

*   Create a new composite item or edit open an existing composite item in Zoho Inventory.
*   Click the **Add Services** option under the **Item Details** section.
*   Find and add the desired service items. **Note:** Ensure that you have added at least one inventory item as well.
*   Fill in the essential details and click **Save**.

**Pro Tip:** You can also include service items while bundling a composite items.
