# How can I sell my product with a different unit of measurement?

In Zoho Inventory, we use the **Unit** as the field to measure units. Currently you can only sell your items using a single unit standard, but you can manage sub units by selling the same in fractional quantities.

**For e.g.:** Let’s say you sell ribbons. If you wish to sell 50cm of a ribbon and the UOM for ribbons is in meters, then you can do so by specifying the quantity as 0.5 meters in the sales order.
