# Is it possible to obtain a list of transactions associated with a cash account, including the running balance for each transaction?

Yes you can obtain a list of transactions associated with a cash account, including the running balance for each transaction. Here’s how:

*   Go to **Reports** on the left sidebar.
*   Click **Accountant** under the _Report Category_.
*   Select **Account Transaction** or search for **Account Transaction** in the _Search Report_ field.
*   Select the date range for which you want to generate the report.
*   Click **More filters**.
*   Select the **Account** from the _field_ filter dropdown, choose **is in** from the _Select a comparator_ field. Select the required cash account from the adjacent dropdown.
*   Click **Run Report**.
*   Click **Customize Report Columns** and double click the **Running balance** field under _Available Columns_.
*   Click **Apply** to update as per your preferences.
