What's New in V7?

New APIs

Record Clone

From V7, you can quickly clone an existing record in a module using the Record Clone API. The cloned record retains the values of the parent record, using the Record Clone API, you can also modify the fields with new values during the cloning process. 

Data Enrichment

Tired of searching for public information like Company address, PIN, website, etc, over the Internet, to include in your Zoho CRM data? Your search ends here, quite literally! Zia, Zoho's AI-powered assistant, enriches data in Zoho CRM based on the data available on the Internet. When you have enabled data enrichment, certain fields act as triggers and enrich data in other fields based on the mapping you have given.
Use our enrichment APIs to trigger data enrichment at the org and people level, based on the configuration you have set.

Cadences

It is important to maintain consistent and personalized follow-ups with leads and prospects until the desired outcome is achieved. Automate this follow-up process using Cadences in Zoho CRM. Create targeted, sequential communications, like emails, calls, or tasks, based on customer interactions and behavior. Use the Get Cadences API for the details of Cadences created for your org. 
Use the Enroll in Cadences and Un-enroll from Cadences APIs to manually enroll in and un-enroll records from cadences, respectively.

Export Audit Log

In this latest version of our APIs, you can export the audit logs from your CRM account, which let you export a detailed history of all user actions within your CRM. Use the Export Audit log API to schedule a job to export the audit logs. You can check the status of the job using the Get the Status of the Export Audit Log Job API, and download the result using the Download Export Audit Log Result API after the audit logs are exported successfully.

List of Available APIs

The List All Available APIs API provides a complete list of all the supported APIs for the specified version. It allows you to easily filter APIs based on attributes such as request methods, modules, and OAuth scopes, helping you quickly find the APIs that best suit your requirements.

Duplicate Check Preference

Check and avoid duplicate entries during record creation in the Leads and Contacts modules using the Enable Duplicate Check Option API. You can map the unique fields of the Leads and Contacts modules, such as Email and Phone, to check for duplicates. By defining these preferences, Zoho CRM will automatically check for duplicates when you create a new record in the Leads and Contacts modules, preventing messy data. Also, you can retrieve, update, and disable the configured duplicate check preferences. 

Picklist Values

From V7 onwards, the Picklist Values API provides comprehensive details about picklist fields in a module. This includes information such as display value, reference value, colour code, actual value, ID, and type, as well as the layouts the picklist is associated with.

Mass Delete Tags

From V7, the Mass Delete Tags API lets you remove multiple tags at once. Zoho CRM will schedule a background job for this process. You can track the progress of this deletion job using the Mass Delete Tags Status API.
