For employers utilizing Zoho Payroll, an understanding of ADPF is needed to ensure compliance and facilitate the provision of essential benefits to UAE employees. ADPF oversees the retirement pension and benefit system in Abu Dhabi, with a primary objective of safeguarding the financial well-being of employees during their retirement and in times of need. * * * ## Mandatory Contributions Both employers and employees are obligated to make monthly contributions to ADPF. These contributions are calculated based on the employee’s salary, with Zoho Payroll serving as a reliable tool for accurate computation. **Old Pension Scheme (For employees hired before 31/10/2023)** Authority Employees’ Contribution Employer’s Contribution Applicable for Citizens of Abu Dhabi Pension Fund (ADPF) 5% 15% Abu Dhabi **New Pension Scheme (For employees hired on or after 31/10/2023)** Authority Employees’ Contribution Employer’s Contribution Applicable for Citizens of Abu Dhabi Pension Fund (ADPF) 11% 15% Abu Dhabi * * * ## Benefit Entitlements ADPF offers a range of benefits, encompassing retirement pensions, disability benefits, and social security coverage. This involves reporting the maximum contributory wage for employees and updating any changes in employment status.
