# I own two companies, separately registered. Can I use the same Zoho Payroll organization to pay my employees?

No. Each Zoho Payroll organization is designed to support a single legal entity. If you own and operate multiple companies that are separately registered, you’ll need to [create a separate Zoho Payroll organization](/en-ca/payroll/help/employer/basics/access-zoho-payroll.html#create-your-first-zoho-payroll-organization) for each one to ensure accurate tax filings, compliance, and recordkeeping.
