# How to process bonus payments for my employees?

You can issue bonuses either by:

*   Adding a **bonus earning** as a salary component while processing a regular payroll, or
*   Running a **bonus payroll** specifically for bonuses (applicable only for select [pricing plans](/en-ca/payroll/pricing/))

When adding the bonus, select the appropriate earning type, enter the amount, and Zoho Payroll will automatically calculate the associated taxes.
