# How do I change the background color of the customer portal?

You can personalize the portal’s background color and overall appearance according to your preferences. Here’s how:

*   Log in to your Zoho Books organization.
*   Navigate to _Settings_ and click **Branding**.
*   From the branding page, you can set the **Accent Color** to your preferred choice.
*   Additionally, you can modify the appearance by selecting either the **Light pane** or **Dark pane** option.
