Integrate Zoho Commerce With Razorpay Magic Checkout

Razorpay Magic Checkout is a faster checkout experience designed to reduce friction during payments and improve conversion rates. By integrating it with Zoho Commerce, you can offer customers a smoother payment flow with fewer steps, faster authentication, and better support for popular payment options.

Prerequisites

Before you access Razorpay Magic Checkout, make sure the following are in place:

  • Razorpay payment gateway integration is set up under Payment Gateways in Zoho Commerce.
  • You have access to Integrations & Marketplace in Zoho Commerce.
  • You have an active Razorpay account.
  • Your account is approved for Razorpay Magic Checkout access.

Note: You have to integrate Razorpay payment gateway before you can access Razorpay Magic Checkout. Refer to the Razorpay Payment Gateway Integration Guide for detailed instructions.

Accessing Razorpay Magic Checkout

To access Razorpay Magic Checkout:

  • Click Settings in the top right corner.
  • Select Checkout under Integrations & Marketplace.
  • Click Request Access next to Razorpay Magic Checkout. A support email will be sent to the Zoho Commerce support team.

Note: The support team will guide you through creating a Razorpay account. After the account is created and access is approved, you can complete the setup in Zoho Commerce.

Set Up Razorpay Magic Checkout

Razorpay Magic Checkout can be enabled only after your Razorpay payment gateway is connected and your account is approved for access. Once these are complete, you can proceed with the checkout setup.

Steps to Set Up Razorpay Magic Checkout

Once access is approved, the Set Up Now button becomes available. Click it to open the setup popup.

The setup popup guides you through the following steps:

Step 1: Add Website

  • Copy the URL shown in the Zoho Commerce setup popup for your store.
  • Log in to your Razorpay dashboard.
  • Click the Payments tab.
  • Go to Account & Settings on the left sidebar and click Business Website Details.
  • Click Add website/app and paste the website URL copied from the Zoho Commerce pop-up.
  • Click Next in the popup to proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Add API Key

  • In the Razorpay dashboard, click the Payments tab.
  • Go to Account & Settings and click Business Website Details.
  • Click Generate Key and copy the key ID.
  • Paste the copied key ID in the Key Id field in the Zoho Commerce setup popup.
  • Click Next in the popup to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Add Coupons API

  • Copy the URLs provided in the Zoho Commerce setup popup for get promotions and apply promotions.
  • In the Razorpay dashboard, click the Payments tab.
  • Go to Magic Checkout on the left sidebar.
  • Select Checkout Setup under Setup & Settings.
  • Under Coupon Settings, paste the URL for get promotions and URL for apply promotions.
  • Click Next in the popup to proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Add Shipping API

  • Copy the URL provided in the Zoho Commerce setup popup for shipping info.
  • In the Razorpay dashboard, click the Payments tab.
  • Go to Magic Checkout in the left sidebar.
  • Select Shipping Setup under Setup & Settings.
  • Under Setup & Settings, paste the API For Shipping Info URL. Paste it in the field shown in Zoho Commerce.
  • Click Next in the popup to complete the setup.

Activate the integration

  • Open the test checkout link displayed in the pop-up and confirm that the page loads correctly.
  • If you have tested everything and the checkout page works as expected, enable the checkbox and click Activate.
  • If you want to make any changes, click Back to Setup to return to the previous steps.

After you complete these steps in the popup, Razorpay Magic Checkout is connected to your Zoho Commerce organization and is ready to use.

Reconfigure Razorpay Magic Checkout

If you need to update the connection details or credentials, use the Reconfigure option.

To reconfigure Razorpay Magic Checkout:

  • Click Settings in the top right corner.
  • Select Checkout under Integrations & Marketplace.
  • Click Reconfigure next to Razorpay Magic Checkout.
  • Update the required details and save the changes.

The updated configuration will be applied to your Razorpay Magic Checkout integration.

Deactivate Razorpay Magic Checkout

If you want to temporarily stop using Razorpay Magic Checkout, you can deactivate the integration from the checkout settings page.

To deactivate Razorpay Magic Checkout:

  • Click Settings in the top right corner.
  • Select Checkout under Integrations & Marketplace.
  • Click the dropdown next to the setting icon and select Deactivate in the Razorpay Magic Checkout section.
  • Click Deactivate in the pop-up to confirm the action.

The Razorpay Magic Checkout integration will be disabled, and customers can no longer use it during checkout until it is reactivated.

Delete the Integration

If you no longer want to use Razorpay Magic Checkout, you can disconnect it from Zoho Commerce.

To delete the integration:

  • Log in to your Zoho Commerce organization.
  • Click Settings in the top right corner.
  • Select Checkout under Integrations & Marketplace.
  • Click the Delete icon next to Razorpay Magic Checkout.
  • Click Delete to confirm.

The Razorpay Magic Checkout integration will be removed from your organization, and your customers can no longer use it for checkout.

How Razorpay Magic Checkout Works

Once the Razorpay Magic Checkout integration is complete, the native checkout button on the storefront will be replaced by the Razorpay Magic Checkout button. Customers can click this button to initiate the checkout process. Razorpay Magic Checkout prefills the saved address and payment details of the customer based on the entered phone number. Cart details, applicable coupons, and available shipping methods are fetched from Zoho Commerce and displayed within the checkout popup.
