When the two apps are connected, your organization’s data is synced across the applications, helping you manage sales, accounting, and orders from a single connected workflow. ## Benefits of the Integration Integrating Zoho Commerce with Zoho Books helps you: * Automatically sync customer and order details. * Generate invoices for online orders in Zoho Books. * Track payments and account receivables efficiently. * Keep tax, item, and organization information consistent across apps. * Manage your accounting workflow alongside your storefront. ## Prerequisites Before setting up the integration: * Make sure you have admin access to both Zoho Commerce and Zoho Books. * Ensure both apps belong to the same Zoho organization or are connected through the supported organization setup. * Confirm that your store and accounting preferences are configured correctly before syncing orders and customers. ## Set Up the Integration To connect Zoho Commerce with Zoho Books: * Log in to your Zoho Commerce organization. * Click **Settings** in the top right corner. * Navigate to **Zoho Apps** under _Integrations & Marketplace_. * Click **Access Zoho Books** next to **Zoho Books**. * You will be directed to the Zoho Books application, you can create a new organization or join an existing one. Once connected, Zoho Commerce and Zoho Books will start syncing data based on the organization setup. **Insight:** This is a two-way sync setup, which allows data to flow between Zoho Commerce and Zoho Books automatically, depending on the transaction and configuration. ## Data Sync Across the Applications Once the integration is active, the following data is synced across Zoho Commerce and Zoho Books: * Orders and order details * Customers and contacts * Payments and payment records * Items and product information * Taxes and accounting details * Invoices generated from store orders This helps you maintain a single source of truth for your online store and accounting operations. ### What happens after sync? * Orders placed through Zoho Commerce are available in Zoho Books for invoicing and accounting. * Customer details captured in the store are available in Zoho Books. * Payments recorded in Zoho Commerce can be reflected in the accounting workflow in Zoho Books. * Product and tax data remain aligned with your organization setup.
