# Are Custom Templates Still Usable After Migration?

Custom templates can continue to be used after migration, but they can be edited only to the permitted extent. Mandatory compliance fields that are required in the France edition cannot be removed or hidden from the invoice PDF.

We recommend using predefined templates because they are designed to include the required legal and compliance information.

If you use fully custom HTML templates, Zoho Inventory cannot guarantee that they meet French regulatory requirements. The decision to continue using such templates, and the responsibility for ensuring their compliance, remains with your business.
