Enable Foreign Contributions

Foreign Contributions allows your organisation to manage donations received from foreign donors under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) in Zoho ERP. Once enabled, you can record foreign donations, maintain foreign donor details, and track foreign donations through your designated FCRA account.

Insight:

The designated FCRA account acts as the primary receiving account for all foreign contributions. Under the FCRA, this account must be maintained at the State Bank of India, New Delhi Main Branch, and funds must be credited to it before they are transferred to another account.

To enable Foreign Contributions:

  • Log in to your Zoho ERP organisation.
  • Go to Settings at the top corner of the page.
  • Select Non Profits under Taxes & Compliance in the Organization Settings.
  • Switch to the Foreign tab.
  • Click Enable.
  • Enter the following details to enable Foreign Contributions:

Provide your FCRA registration details in the following fields.

  • Under Designated Account, click + New Account.
  • Enter your account information and save.

Once enabled, you can create foreign donors and record foreign donations.

You can manage the designated FCRA account from the Banking module as you would any other bank account added in Zoho ERP.
