Is there any way to edit the particulars of the Profit and Loss (Schedule III) report?

No, the particulars of the Profit and Loss (Schedule III) report cannot be edited as it is predefined in the Companies Act. Instead, the accounts mapped to the particulars can be edited. To edit the mapped accounts,

  • Navigate to the Reports module.
  • Select Business Overview under Report Category.
  • Select Profit and Loss (Schedule III) report under Business Overview reports.
  • Click Edit Accounts mapping in the More options icon at the top right corner.
  • In the Edit Accounts mapping page, add or remove the required accounts from the listed particulars.
  • Click Save & Run to apply the changes to the report.

Also, users can have a detailed view in case if they want to know the accounts involved in the respective particulars listed in the report. To view the details of the accounts,

  • Navigate to the Reports module.
  • Select Business Overview under Report Category.
  • Select Profit and Loss (Schedule III) report under Business Overview reports.
  • Select Detailed View from the Select Report View dropdown in the top right side corner.

The Profit and Loss (Schedule III) report will be dispalyed in a detailed view listing all the accounts under the respective particulars.
