# Can I preview how an item will look before publishing it?

Yes, you can preview how an item looks on your online store before publishing it. To do this:

1.  Go to **Items** and select the item.
2.  In the item details page, find the item URL displayed below the item name.
3.  Click the item link to open the item’s live page in your online store.

This lets you see exactly how the item appears to customers before publishing it.
