Zoho Commerce offers **Sales Tax Automation** powered by Avalara. You can set it up from **Settings** > **Taxes & Compliance** > **Taxes** > **Tax Automation Settings**.

Sales Tax Automation provides the following capabilities:

*   Get accurate tax rates in real time.
*   Apply the correct tax on every sale based on what you sell, where you sell, and where you’re registered.
*   Automatically identify whether a product you sell is taxable or exempt.
*   Ensure compliance as you expand sales across states.
*   Effortlessly manage tax exemptions.
*   Stay updated with changing tax rules and rates.

Tax is calculated based on three factors — **Where You’re Registered**, **What You Sell**, and **Where You Sell**. Click **Set Up Sales Tax Automation** to get started.
