If my organization has more than 50 tax authorities, how do I set up Sales Tax Automation?

If your organization has more than 50 tax authorities, complete the bulk tax authority mapping before you set up Sales Tax Automation.

  • Go to Settings.
  • Select Taxes under Taxes & Compliance.
  • Click Set Up Sales Tax Automation.
  • In the Map Tax Authorities to setup pop-up, click Export File to export all the tax authorities in your organization as an XLSX file.
  • Map each existing tax authority to a system-recognized tax authority in the exported file.
  • Click Choose File to upload the mapped tax authorities XLSX file, or drag and drop it.
  • Click Import.

Once the tax authorities are mapped, continue with Sales Tax Automation setup.
