Describe your current role in the organization.
I lead the product marketing team for Zoho Meeting and Zoho Webinar. My primary role is to mentor and guide the team in expanding across marketing channels that add value to the product and reach the right audience effectively. I also work with the Analyst Relations team, where I learn about market positioning, engage with analyst firms, and attend analyst conferences.
What role does Zoho’s company culture play in your identity and the work that you do?
Flexibility at work allows you to reach your full potential, which I admire and enjoy at Zoho. I believe this flexibility has also played a key role in the evolution of many Zoho products.
Another important aspect is the freedom to learn and unlearn, which is essential for staying with the trends and growing professionally. I’ve noticed that many of my colleagues at Zoho are open to unlearning when needed, and I believe that’s crucial for both personal and company growth.
What were the highest and lowest points of your journey with Zoho?
My journey at Zoho has had its ups and downs. I started by analyzing the market and assessing the potential for a webinar product before writing the first line of code. Later, I had the opportunity to meet top analysts and build relationships with them—an incredible milestone in my career.
I can’t pinpoint one specific lowest point—there were many. But I believe those moments of unlearning and relearning were the most challenging. However, they also helped me grow in the best way possible.

Your most embarrassing blunder?
In 2008, I worked on rolling out a module in Zoho Meeting. Soon after it went live, I noticed an issue and reported it to my manager, SRK. He remained calm, simply smiled, and asked if I knew how to fix it. Fortunately, no users were affected, and I quickly resolved it.

What are your hobbies or favorite activities outside of work?
Again, this would also align with my times at Zoho. I was more into pencil sketching, especially during the AdventNet days. Later, photography became my main interest, and many of us at Zoho formed a photography group to connect and engage. You can check out some of my shots here.
Lately, my favorite activity has been Zumba and freestyle dancing. Here’s a glimpse.
Words of Wisdom
Lessons from hard times make you stronger and more knowledgeable. So, don’t feel discouraged when things go wrong.
Don’t hesitate to connect with the next generation. There’s always something to learn from them, just as they can learn from you. Growth in the workplace comes from evolving together.
Delegate responsibilities—it helps you grow from the bottom up. Decision-making is never easy, but this approach makes it more effective.
