# I had created a bill in January 2021, but I received the product only in February 2021. Can I claim ITC for this bill?

Yes, you can enable the **Transaction Posting Date** for your bills which can be used instead of the bill date to claim ITC. Here’s how:

*   Log in to your Zoho Books account.
*   Go to **Settings** at the top right corner of the page and select **Bills** under _Purchases_.
*   In _Bills_, go to **Field Customization** tab.
*   By default, the _Transaction Posting Date_ field will be marked as inactive. Hover over the field, click the dropdown next to it, and select **Mark as Active**.

Once marked as active, you’ll be able to claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) for items in a bill based on the transaction posting date rather than the bill date.
