# I have created a new template for a branch. How do I apply this template to the transactions created for the branch?

By default, the transaction will be associated with the default template. To change the template for a specific transaction, you need to manually associate the desired template. Here’s how:

*   While creating the transaction, click _Settings_ icon at the top of the page.
*   Click **Change** next to the template option.
*   Hover the cursor to the desired template and click **Choose** **Template**.
