# How do I validate PAN for my customers and vendors in Zoho Books?

You can instantly validate the PAN details of your customers and vendors in Zoho Books. This helps you confirm that the PAN details are correct and linked to the individual’s Aadhaar number. Zoho Books performs this validation using Signzy, a third-party verification partner. To do this:

*   Go to **Settings**.
*   Select **General** under _Setup & Configurations_.
*   Scroll down to _PAN Validation for Customers & Vendors_, and check the **Enable PAN Validation** option.
*   In the confirmation pop-up, review the terms and click **Agree**.
*   Click **Save**.

PAN validation will be enabled for your organisation. When you create a customer or vendor, enter their PAN and click **Validate** to check if the PAN is valid and linked to their Aadhaar number.
