# I use Zoho Books as my GST Suvidha provider and generated an IRN for an e-Invoice in the IRP. Will Zoho Books automatically update the IRN in the corresponding e-Invoice?

If you generate an IRN for an e-Invoice in the IRP, you should manually update it in the corresponding e-Invoice in Zoho Books. To do this:

*   Go to _Sales_ on the left sidebar and select **Invoices**.
*   Select the invoice for which you want to associate the IRN.
*   In the details page, click the **More** icon and select **Associate IRN**.
*   Enter the **IRN, Acknowledgement Number**, and **Acknowledgement Date** provided by the IRP portal on the _Associate IRN_ page.

**Note:**Within the first 2 days of pushing an invoice, you can retrieve the acknowledgement number and date from the IRP portal by entering the IRN. After this period, please refer to the GST Portal for this information.

*   Click **Save.**

Now, your IRN generated in the IRP will be associated with the invoice in Zoho Books.
