# How do I include more decimal places in transaction amounts in Zoho Books?

As per GST norms, amounts in transactions like the line item’s amount, sub-total, and total must be reported with up to two decimal places on the GST portal. To ensure compliance, Zoho Books allows you to record amounts only up to two decimal places by default.
