# My user cannot see the Import option. What permission needs to be enabled?

The user who has permission to view and create transactions could import as well. To verify whether the user has permission to create transactions,

*   Click the _Settings_ icon at the top-right corner.
*   Go to _Users & Roles_ and choose _**Roles**_.
*   Edit the user’s role and check whether the _View_ and _Create_ options are enabled for respective **Purchase** and **Sales** transaction. If not, provide the necessary permissions and _Save_ the role.
