# I have incurred an expense on behalf of my customer and later billed the expense by marking up the values to a certain percentage. How can I find out the profit incurred from these billable expenses?

The gross profit incurred for these transactions can be found using the **Billable Expense Details** report. To view the report:

*   Go to the _Reports_ module and click **Purchases and Expenses** under the _Report Category_.
*   Choose **Billable Expense Details**.
*   On this page, you can check the **Gross Profit (%)** column to know the profit incurred on the billable expenses.
