# Do we need to cancel or issue a new e-Way Bill for goods in transit when GST rates change?

You need not cancel or issue a new e-Way Bill for goods already in transit. Even if the GST rates change on September 22, 2025, the old rates will apply to those goods until the e-Way Bill expires.
