# How do I round off the TDS amount in a transaction?

In Zoho Books, TDS is automatically calculated based on the sub-total of a transaction. If you need to round off the TDS amount (for example, to the nearest whole number), you can [manually override the TDS](/in/books/help/settings/income-tds.html#override).

**Note:**

You can override TDS amounts only at the transaction level.
