# Why isn’t the Rupee symbol showing on my downloaded invoice?

The PDF font selected in the template should support the Indian Rupee symbol. If it does not support the symbol, the currency symbol will not be visible in the invoice PDF. To check the font selected:

1.  Go to _Settings_ and choose **Customization**.
2.  Select **PDF Templates**.
3.  Go to _Invoices_ and click the **Edit** icon to customise the default template.
4.  On the right sidebar, select _General_.
5.  Click **Font** and check the font selected under the **PDF Font** field.
6.  If the selected font does not support the Indian Rupee symbol, you can change the font.

**Pro Tip:** Fonts such as **Noto Sans**, **DejaVu Sans**, **DejaVu LGC Sans**, **Ubuntu**, **Font RTL**, **Hind**, **Hind Madurai**, **Hind Vadodara**, and **Roboto** support the Indian Rupee symbol.
