# Is it possible to automate the generation of the Business overview reports monthly using custom functions?

No, it is not possible to automate the generation of reports using Custom Functions. However, you can utilize the feature [Schedule Reports](/inventory/help/reports/managing-reports.html#schedule-reports) and configure the desired frequency in which you wish to generate reports and send them to your recipients automatically.
