[Back](./) # What is Labour Welfare Fund and how do I enable it for my organization? Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) a scheme which ensures social security and improved working conditions for employees. It is applicable only for employees whose monthly salary is ₹15,000 or less. The deduction cycle may be monthly, half-yearly or yearly depending on your state.To enable LWF for your organsiation: * Go to **Settings** in the top right corner and select **Statutory Components.** * Switch to the LWF tab. * Click the **Enable**. **Note**: You will not be able to disable Professional Tax for your organsiation. Here’s how you can disable EPF, ESI and LWF for certain employees. * Go to **Employees** in the top right corner and select an employee\*\*.\*\* * In the Statutory Component section, slide the toggle to **Disable** the statutory component of your choice.
