# How to modify the PF contribution for certain employees?

Some employees would want to modify their PF contribution to meet their financial needs.

To change PF contribution only for certain employees, follow these steps:

*   Go to _Settings_ and click **Statutory Components.**
*   In the _EPF_ tab, click the **Edit** icon.
*   Select **Override PF contribution rate at employee level** in the options presented.

You can then edit the PF contribution details in the **Salary Details** page of the employees.
