# Which employee fields from Zoho People will be synced with Zoho Payroll?

When you integrate Zoho People with Zoho Payroll, the following employee fields will be synced:

*   Employee ID
*   Name
*   Date of birth
*   Date of Joining
*   Date of Exit
*   Location
*   Department
*   Designation
*   Employee type
*   Employee Status
*   Email ID
*   Gender

Make sure you update all these fields in Zoho People before initiating Employee Sync for the first time.
