# Is it possible to add a product code for an item?

For any item in your inventory, you can add **UPC**(Universal Product Code), **ISBN**(International Standard Book Number), **EAN**(International Article Number) and **MPN**(Manufacturer’s Part Number).

This can be done by providing these details in their respective fields during item creation in the new item group page or when you edit an item.
