# How can I modify the items that composes a kit/composite item?

Yes, you can modify the items associated to a composite item at any time, but only if the composite item itself does not have any boxing history associated with it. To modify the composite item:

*   Go to the **Composite Items** module under **Items** in the sidebar.
*   Open a composite item of your choice.
*   Click the **Pencil** icon on the top right side of the page to edit it.
*   Add/delete the associated items or services.
*   Click **Save** at the bottom of the page.

You can also, alter the contents while creating bundles for the composite items.
