Why is my payout different from what I expected?
Your payout amount may not match the total amount collected due to fees, payout schedule, refunds, or disputes. Here are more details:
Fees Deducted
Zoho Payments deducts applicable transaction fee, dispute fee, instant verification fee, instant payout fee, and other fees before processing your payout. You can view the exact fees in the Payout Details page.
Yet To Be Available Payouts
Collected payments are settled in 2-4 business days from the date of the transaction, depending on the payment method:
- Card payments: T+2 business days
- ACH Direct Debit: T+4 business days
Insight: The T here denotes the actual transaction date.
Until then, they appear as Yet to be Available in your Account Balance.
Reserve
If you’ve set up a refund buffer or maintain a reserve, a portion of your balance will be held back and excluded from the payout until released.
Refunds:
If a payment was refunded before the payout was initiated, the refunded amount will not be included in your payout. You can track all refunds in the Refund Summary report.
Disputes
Payments that are under dispute will be reversed to the customers. If the dispute is resolved in your favor, the amount and applicable fees will be returned in a future payout.
Payout Schedule Change
If you recently updated your payout schedule, a different set of transactions may be included compared to your previous payout.
You can view a detailed breakdown of your payout in the Payout Details page to understand the components of your payout.
