How do I exclude transactions from a list of uncategorized transactions?
If you do not want any transaction from your bank statement to be included in Zoho Books, you can exclude them. Here’s how:
- Go to the Banking module on the left sidebar.
- Select the bank account for which you want to exclude transactions.
- Go to the Uncategorised Transactions tab.
- Click the check box towards the left side of the transactions that you want to exclude.
- Click Exclude.
- In the pop-up that appears, enter the reason for excluding the transactions in the Reason field and click Exclude All.
With this, the transactions selected will be excluded. To view them:
- Click the down arrow next to Uncategorised Transactions and select Manually Excluded from the dropdown.
All the excluded transactions will be listed.
Zoho Books will automatically exclude the duplicate transactions in your bank statement. To view the duplicate transactions:
- Go to the Banking module in the left sidebar.
- Select the account in which contains the duplicate transactions.
- Click the down arrow next to Uncategorised Transactions and select Automatically Excluded from the dropdown.
If there are any duplicate transactions that were not excluded, you can exclude them manually.
