# I haven’t filed my current return yet. How do I create a new one for a different period?

You can only create one return per accounting period. A new return can be created only after the current one is [filed](https://www.zoho.com/uk/books/help/corporation-tax.html#Mark-Corporation-Tax-Returns-as-Filed) or [deleted](https://www.zoho.com/uk/books/help/corporation-tax.html#Delete-Corporation-Tax-Returns).
