# How does Zoho Books fetch my Business Type and Business ID during the MTD for Income Tax setup?

When you connect Zoho Books to HMRC, Zoho Books uses the National Insurance Number (NINO) linked to your HMRC account to retrieve your registered business details. This includes your Business Type and Business ID, so you need not enter them manually.
