# Can I clone a template from one module to another?

Yes, you can clone a template. Once you have created a template in any of the following modules, you can clone it as an invoice, sales order or purchase order: 

*   Invoices
*   Purchase Order
*   Sales Order
*   Credit Note
*   Bills
*   Package Slips

To clone a template:

*   Go to **Settings** > **Templates** > **Invoices** or any module.
*   Place your cursor over a template and click the ![Gear icon](/inventory/help/images/icons/gear-icon.png) button.
*   Under **Clone as**, select a module to which you’d like to clone the template.
*   A preview of the cloned template will be shown.
*   Enter a template name on the left pane and click **Save**.
