# Can I pay a non-resident employee?

Zoho Payroll UK is built for running **UK PAYE** payroll for employees in your organisation. Add each person with the tax code, National Insurance, and payment details needed for pay runs and Full Payment Submission (FPS) reporting to HMRC.

If someone has a special tax status (for example they are not UK resident for tax), enter the tax and National Insurance details that apply to that person, and follow HMRC’s rules for their situation. For residency and PAYE questions outside the product setup, refer to HMRC guidance or your adviser.
