# I have integrated my organization with Avalara. How can I use my customer’s shipping address for tax calculation?

If your organization is based out of the U.S.A. or Canada and if you’ve integrated with Avalara, you can use your customer’s _Ship to_ address for verification and tax calculation.

*   Click on the **Gear** icon on the top right corner and select **Taxes**.
*   In the page that follows, you will see the details of your Avalara integration.
*   Click on the **Change** link against **Applicable For** and choose **“Use Shipping Address”** and click **Save** to make the changes.

*   Henceforth, your customer’s shipping address would be considered for verification of address and tax calculation.
