How do I disable batch tracking for an item?

To disable batch tracking for an item, you must first delete all the associated transactions and clear the opening stock for that item. If that seems tedious or if you wish to keep those transactions, then you can very well mark the item as Inactive and create a new item in its place. (Note: This is also applicable for serial number tracked items.)
