Can I delete a customer or vendor?

As long as a customer or vendor is not associated with any transaction, you can delete them. If you wish to delete, then the only way you can do so is by deleting all the transactions associated with them and then proceed to delete.

If you do not wish to delete, as an alternate measure, you can simply mark them as inactive. To do so:

  • Go to the Customers or Vendors module.
  • Open a customer or vendor that you wish to mark as inactive.
  • Click the More dropdown at the top right corner.
  • Select the Mark as Inactive option.
