# I want my accountant to process payrolls on my behalf. Is this possible?

Yes. Zoho Payroll allows you to securely collaborate with your accountant or payroll administrator by adding them as a user to your organization. You can assign them a predefined role that gives them the necessary access to manage payroll on your behalf.

If your plan supports it, you can also create a [**custom role**](/us/payroll/help/employer/settings/users-and-roles.html#add-a-new-role) with tailored permissions—allowing your accountant to access only specific areas such as payroll processing, tax details, or reports.
