[Back](./) # What if I operate out of multiple locations within a state in the US? * * * While state-level tax rules typically remain consistent across a state, local taxes and jurisdiction-specific requirements—such as city or county taxes—can vary based on the exact location of your business operations. Zoho Payroll allows you to add a separate **work location** for each place of business within the same state. You can do this under **Settings > Work Locations**.
