# How do I deposit salaries directly into employees’ bank accounts?

**Direct Deposit** is the fastest and most secure way to pay your employees and settle your payroll taxes. With Direct Deposit in Zoho Payroll, you can:

*   Streamline payroll processing
*   Eliminate the risks involved with physical checks
*   Ensure employees are paid on time
*   Automatically remit taxes to the appropriate federal, state, and local authorities

To get started with Direct Deposit in Zoho Payroll:

*   [Enter your employees’ bank account details](/us/payroll/help/employer/direct-deposit/employees.html)

Once configured, Zoho Payroll will automatically debit the total payroll amount (including employee wages, payroll taxes, and any child support garnishments) from your organization’s bank account and deposit payments to your employees’ bank accounts and the appropriate tax agencies.
