What to do if my deposit schedule or SUI rate changes?


It’s common for your State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rate to change annually or for your federal deposit schedule to be updated. In such cases, you can update your tax settings in Zoho Payroll.

To update your federal deposit schedule:

  1. Go to Settings and click Taxes.
  2. Under Federal Tax Information, click the Edit icon next to your current schedule.
  3. In the popup, select the updated Federal Tax Deposit Frequency and the Effective Date.
  4. Click Save.

NOTE The changes will apply only to pay runs created after the effective date. Current or past pay runs will remain unaffected.

Likewise, you can update your SUI rate from the Settings > Taxes page to ensure accurate tax calculations.
